Earthtones (Serge Bandura) is an electrifying DJ + Recording Artist based in Los Angeles, who merges ancestral rhythms & voices with analog electronic instruments and cutting edge production, in a celebration of rhythm and dance.

Live Earthtones DJ sets blend the best of global dance music and techno, while layering afro-latin percussion, polyrhythmic drums, and deep basslines. Earthtones’ ability to curate immersive and uplifting dancefloor experiences has made him a favorite DJ playing to global dance music fans from the US to Latin America, and Europe to Asia.

Earthtones has released 5 vinyl records, 2 cassettes, plus numerous digital singles & remixes, with EP’s & LP’s on international labels such as Wonderwheel Recordings, Multi-Culti, and Isle of Jura. Noteworthy collaborations include acclaimed artists such as Lido Pimienta, Verito Asprilla and Semblanzas Del Rio Guapi.

Earthtones has established himself as a key curator in the US/California global electronic music scene producing iconic parties such as International Sunshine & Beat Tropíc, plus ambient hi-fi events like The Listening Garden, and co-founding Cultura Festival (Commune).

Although most fans know Earthtones from the dance floor, his personal meditation practice has taken him further into composing ambient & fourth world music. Bandura’s ambient productions bring listeners on an introspective journey, often in beautiful and intimate listening room experiences.

Earthtones has released remixes by Auntie Flo, Andi Otto, Ami Dang, and others. In 2026 he is looking forward to remixes by El Buho, Kay Suzuki, Captain Planet, and touring internationally in Latin America, Asia and Europe.
